Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell was a television personality, a former chef of the Institute of Culinary Education and previously taught cooking. Anne W. Burrell is the host on Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network, as well as the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network presenter with her distinctive long, blonde hair with a pumped up personality reveals easy to learn techniques and eliminates the fear of eating at restaurants in her show Secrets of a Restaurant. Chef Burrell was a student and worked in some of the most prestigious New York restaurants. He also battled Iron Chef America and the culinary landscape of Italy. After obtaining an English and Communication degree in Canisius College in Buffalo NY she pursued her passion for the industry of restaurants by registering at The Culinary Institute of America. She states "I enjoyed being a Culinary Institute of American student. I enjoyed every moment." The Culinary Institute of the Americas was a great opportunity to pursue a degree. After graduating, chef Burrell was in Italy for a whole year studying at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Also, she was employed at La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin highly rated restaurant) located in Tuscany. In her time in Italy she was able to fully appreciate and understand the philosophies behind Italian cuisine and culture which made a lasting impression on her culinary viewpoint. Burrell was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that aims to make a difference in children's lives who are facing problems. Burrell is also an Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity ambassador which promotes awareness of juvenile diabetes. In her capacity as an inspirational speaker, she is on the road to speak about her passion for cuisine and to promote her professional career as a chef. Anne has, through her whole cooking journey, has said that it's an honor to be able to share this passion for life with others.
