Ashley Graham was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. Growing up with their sisters, she was constantly bullied by classmates due to her huge legs. Graham, shortly after finishing elementary school was diagnosed with A.D.H.D. In 2009, she appeared as a model in "Glamour magazine"'s "These Bodies Can Be Beautiful regardless of size" alongside Sally Singer. Graham's Lane Bryant commercial, which was banned in a variety of countries, drew attention repeatedly. At the time of its de-listing from YouTube the advertisement featured more than 800,000 views. She even appeared as a guest on "The Tonight Show" alongside Jay Leno to address the issue after it grew out of control. Graham quickly became an enthralling as a plus-size model. Grande began acting and singing in her early years as a kid. In 2008, she was awarded an acting role in the Broadway play 13 She then was appearing in bits in television shows. The role she played in Victorious, a Nickelodeon TV show, in the year 2010 was her first big breakthrough. The character she played was Cat Valentine, an adolescent attending a performing-arts school. The sitcom was cancelled in 2013 and she appeared on the spinoff show, Sam & Cat.
